A lunar eclipse happens on a full moon day, when the Earth comes between the Sun and Moon. Why doesn’t it happen on all full moon days?

The plane of the Moon’s orbit around the Earth is at an angle with respect to the plane of the Earth’s orbit around the Sun. So the eclipse can only happen if the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon where the planes of the two orbits intersect.
